This is about being called to the road when there is really something worth staying home for. It is a
reaction to being out of balance, and then throwing things back the other way. I am a homebody and a
family man, but I am also a musician called to make music and take it to an audience. It is a very hard
balance to strike and I can relate to Robert Johnson’s sentiment in “Me and the Devil Blues” that there
are otherworldly forces at work ringing the bell.
